Lynn Davidson,
Turkey was worried。 It was Thanksgiving and he knew he was in trouble。 The farmer was searching for him to cook up for dinner, but Turkey had the idea of a disguise。 Each disguise he tried wasn't quite convincing enough。 He had to come up with a better idea! Paul,
This is a cute little book about how Turkey tries various disguises to avoid being Thanksgiving dinner - and finally finds one that works! I can't say more than that without giving anything away, but it's worth seeing what he finally does! This book is adorable and funny。 My daughter wants to read it all year long。 It's about a turkey who tries to get out of being Thanksgiving dinner by pretending to be other animals。。。not well。 It's funny and has a sweet ending。 It helped me with explaining some facts of life and where our food comes from to my young children。 Cute and funny! Highly recommend。 This book is adorable and funny。 My daughter wants to read it all year long。 It's about a turkey who tries to get out of being Thanksgiving dinner by pretending to be other animals。。。not well。 It's funny and has a sweet ending。 It helped me with explaining some facts of life and where our food comes from to my young children。 Cute and funny! Susan,
Hilarious and super cute illustrations but the story was a bit disturbing。 Is there any adorable animal the farmer and his family won't eat? No, there is not。 I can see kids (and adults) being interested in vegetarianism after this book, which I support 100%。 Hilarious and super cute illustrations but the story was a bit disturbing。 Is there any adorable animal the farmer and his family won't eat? Anne,
3。5 starsTurkey decides that the way to get out of being eaten for Thanksgiving dinner is to impersonate other animals on the farm。 Each one has a flaw though so he comes up with one final creative way to get out of being the main course。Creative, humorous。 A fun read, great illustrations。

Ellon,
A very cute Thanksgiving book (although, like 'Twas The Night Before Thanksgiving, it may make young readers upset about having turkey on Thanksgiving)。 The book follows turkey as he tries (and fails) to dress up as the other farm animals。 A very very cute conclusion。 The actor who reads it on the storyline online video does a great job! Diane,
Cute illustrated children’s book about a turkey who tries everything to not be the main entree for the farmer’s Thanksgiving dinner。 Happy ending all around。
Mrs。 Michael,
This book made me laugh out loud! The costumes Turkey creates to hide from the farmer were just hilarious。 As I sat reading this book and chuckling, my daughter (an eight grader) got excited because it had been assigned reading just before the Thanksgiving break in her English class。 They counted how many times it said 'turkey。' If she rcalls correctly, she reports that it's 32 times。 This book made me laugh out loud! It' a hilarious story of a turkey who had gone in hiding because it feared the kind of trouble that came with being on the menu for Thanksgiving。 It went about disguising itself, trying to look like other animals in the farm。 Then, it came up with a brilliant idea。。。 It' a hilarious story of a turkey who had gone in hiding because it feared the kind of trouble that came with being on the menu for Thanksgiving。 It went about disguising itself, trying to look like other animals in the farm。 Then, it came up with a brilliant idea。。。 。。。more

How does a turkey get out of being dinner for Thanksgiving? Gulp。。。。Find out!Really fun laugh-out-loud read。。。the suspense build-up is actually kind of spooky until the final moments, but overall, fun!Great for story-time!*Reviewed by Andrew from Red Bridge*
Koushik Ghosh,
Save Turkeys! In stead of debating vegetarian vs。 non-vegetarian, this is a great twist to put the perspective in different way。 What is turkey thinking during the Thanksgiving? He surely doesn’t like to be eaten up。 So all these funny endeavors by turkey are real and believable! We will not eat you turkey, I promise!
Deisy Vargas,
Great read for younger kids。 Can be great for read alouds around thanksgiving day。 The book is hilarious along with the turkey trying to avoid being eaten by the farmer。 The ending also adds onto the tory by the turkey bringing pizza instead of being eaten。 This book reminded me of Free Birds。 Great read for thanksgiving。

LaDonna,
Personally, I am not a fan of turkey (whether to eat or look at), but I truly enjoyed this book! Wendi Silvano has created a fun and clever story that makes you wonder, "How do turkeys feel when Thanksgiving is right around the corner?" Accompanied by the illustrations of Lee Harper, Turkey Trouble will bring smiles to the faces of all those who read it。 It is a great way to introduce new readers to the concept of beginning, middle and end; along with problem and solution。 (Yes, a fun themat Personally, I am not a fan of turkey (whether to eat or look at), but I truly enjoyed this book! Turkey is in trouble。 Bad trouble。 The kind of trouble where it’s almost Thanksgiving…and you’re the main course。 But Turkey has an idea—what if he doesn’t look like a turkey? What if he looks like another animal instead? After many hilarious attempts, Turkey comes up with the perfect disguise to make this Thanksgiving the best ever!Wendi Silvano’s comical story is perfectly matched by Lee Harper’s watercolors。
